NCGA Member Shoots National Record Score 58!

On a beautiful fall day with perfect scoring conditions at Green Valley CC in Fairfield, CA, Jeff Wilson won the amateur division of the 2007 Northern California One Man Scramble Open Championship with a record score of 14-under par 58. The amateur field also included Randy Haag, a multiple NCGA Championship winner. Haag matched Wilson with a blistering front nine score of 28 that featured eagles on holes #1 and #3, but could not continue the pace on the back nine. Wilson’s record score featured 1 eagle, 12 birdies, and 5 pars.
